Provence Moulage was founded in Southern France in 1982 and soon became one of leading French manufacturers of resin kits. In two decades more than 2000 kits of racing and road cars were released, mostly in 1/43rd scale. But the company also produced transkits and ready-made models, e.g. classic French cars in the "Nationale 7" range. In the year 2000 Provence Moulage took over their former competitor Starter, but then they had to stop their production in 2004. The company name and some of the moulds were later bought by Norev, who introduced a new range of built 1/43rd scale resin models under the name of Provence Moulage in 2007. The new range is made in China and originally mainly consisted of concept cars, but in the meantime classic and current road cars, as well as special-bodied vehicles from the Tour de France advertising caravan, have also been modelled.
